Founded by Alex M. Sheridan, M.S., Sheridan Industrial Systems was established to bridge the gap between process design intent and practical field implementation — delivering efficient, maintainable, and automation-ready systems built on proven design standards.
With over 15 years of experience in the petrochemical, midstream, and oil & gas sectors, Alex has worked extensively in process design, combustion systems, and instrumentation & controls. His background includes leadership roles in engineering management, automation development, and R&D test operations, where he directed multidisciplinary teams and helped develop new technologies for emissions control, process optimization, and fluid handling systems.
That hands-on experience — spanning from P&ID development and control logic design to fabrication oversight and commissioning coordination — forms the foundation of SiS’s approach. Each project benefits from practical, systems-level insight that balances process performance, control logic clarity, and field constructability.
SiS partners with fabricators, integrators, and engineering firms to provide scalable design and documentation support — delivering PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives, and fabrication packages that meet industry codes and client standards.
